Student Responsbilities

Students at Nash Central Middle School are expected to fulfill the following responsibilities: 

 

Participation – Students have the responsibility of participating fully in the business of learning.  Students must report to school and all scheduled classes regularly and on time, remain in classes until excused, pay attention to instructions, complete assignments to the best of their ability, and request help when it is needed. 

 

Behavior – Students have the responsibility of avoiding any inappropriate behavior that negatively impacts the learning environment.  Students must be cooperative in helping maintain an orderly and productive learning environment and take reasonable care of books, devices, and all other instructional materials. 

 

Respect for Staff – Students have the responsibility of showing respect for the knowledge and authority of all staff members.  All NCMS staff members have the authority to correct students demonstrating inappropriate behaviors. 

 

Respect for Other Students -  Students must refrain from negative interactions with others and maintain a productive and safe learning environment.
